"I'm Drew! I graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a minor in Business Administration. While at Fordham, I tutored students at a local public school in SAT/ACT Math and English, Algebra 1, Latin and basic essay writing techniques on a weekly basis. Since graduating from Fordham in May of 2017, I've continued to tutor and have come to enjoy Wyzant's online tutoring tools as well as in-person lessons.

My tutoring style is based on preparation and engagement. I believe that successful learning can only occur when students are engaged and prepared to advance their knowledge. I've found that "forced tutoring" is largely ineffective and does not facilitate the best learning environment for tutor and student.

As a current sports and news journalist, I currently have an available schedule as well as an ever-developing background in English and Writing to complement my math qualifications!
