"I am a certified Reading Specialist and Orton-Gillingham–trained educator with over 20 years of experience teaching elementary school. I am also an authorized reading instructor through USC. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to become a capable, confident reader and writer, and I’m here to provide the expert support and tools to make that happen.

My summer DREAM Literacy Program offers personalized reading instruction grounded in the Science of Reading. DREAM Literacy provides Diagnostic, Responsive, Explicit, and Multisensory lessons tailored to each student’s needs, especially those with dyslexia. Instruction is structured, systematic, and comprehensive, supporting learners in foundational skills such as phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, spelling, and fluency. Comprehension, manuscript and cursive handwriting, grammar, vocabulary, and composition are also taught using a structured and explicit method. Whether your child is struggling with reading or simply needs extra support, DREAM Literacy delivers evidence-based strategies that build both skill and confidence. My program utilizes the Neuhaus Concepts in Literacy curriculum, which is suitable for learners from 1st grade through adulthood.
