I work best with students who are open to learning and willing to engage with the material. My approach is to encourage, motivate, and use every tool available to nurture that spark of curiosity. When a child has completely given up or refuses to participate, I might not be the right fit for academic help. Maybe we need to tune in together first and release some of the trauma that can be caused from the school environment. Learning requires both effort and openness.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and completed all credits for a middle school teaching degree with a minor in math and reading/language arts. I am certified in K-12 special education and middle school mathematics. Additionally, I am trained in a nationally recognized dyslexia program, where I have the privilege of being mentored by a professional with 18 years of experience in dyslexia education.
