"I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Hartford with a B.S. in Biology. During college, I tutored several fellow students in science and math. After graduating, I volunteered with AmeriCorps as a Health Educator for K-12 students. I went back to school to get my Masters of Arts in Teaching for Biology from Manhattanville College. I have taught STEAM at after school programs, community centers, and non-profit. For the past decade, I have tutored a wide variety of subjects and standardized tests privately and through a company. My full-time career path has taken me from education to mental health. I have completed some coursework at Hunter College for my Masters in Social Work. I bring all of the skills I have learned along the way into my tutoring. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and working toward that "a-ha" moment when a student fully understands a topic." less...
