"Mathematics is intimidating for many students. Due to my passion for teaching and my aptitude in mathematics, I earned my bachelor's degree in mathematics education from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, graduating with a 3.3 GPA. This was based on the kindergarten through high school education that I received from Evansville Christian School in Evansville, Indiana, a school which met or exceeded all state education standards in every academic area. I graduated as the salutatorian of my high school class. I was a member of the honor society through all four years of high school.

I taught in the Florida Public School System for over 15 years, assisting in the facilitation of the mathematics education of students in various grade levels, spanning from fourth grade to twelfth grade. Due to my decision to leave the profession of teaching in the public school system, my teaching certificate with the State of Florida expired in June 2024. My certification covered elementary education, middle school mathematics, and high school mathematics.

My goal as an educator of students in mathematics is to help students understand the concepts in ways that match the given student's learning style, showing the student that the student can understand and apply the given mathematical concepts.
