"I have received both a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Mathematics in 2012 and 2014 respectively from Eastern Michigan University. I have 15 years of tutoring experience in Math and Statistics. I currently work as a Data Analyst for a healthcare facility where I primarily work with R, excel, and EPIC. In addition to tutoring Math and Statistics, I have a strong background in Excel, R, SPSS, and Tableau. All of these programs have been used for data visualization and I have worked with students in R to manipulate, model, and validate data.

When working with students, my goal is to ensure they understand the concepts well enough to explain it back to me. When working with students on various programming languages, it is important for them to understand how to structure and comment their code. In the past I have done individual and group sessions. Students have had success with both approaches and I do not prefer one over the other.
