My name is Taylor and I am a recent Journalism graduate. I graduated from SUNY New Paltz, a highly competitive state school in New York in 3 years with a concentration and a minor. I'm eager to begin sharing what I've learned with those who need it in a patient, but driven way.

I have mentoring and tutoring experience that formally took place in high school as a peer tutor but I've held a mentoring role for much of my life. After overcoming a reading disability as a young child, I was brought to classrooms within my school to help my peers and those younger than me learn how to do the same. My friends and their younger siblings relied on me throughout my educational career to act as a proofreader or a springboard to understanding.

In highschool I was an AP Scholar, chorus member, All-County violinist and athlete. Additionally, I was recognized for my volunteership through many local organizations. While this may not translate to my professional resume, I feel like it reveals that I have a broad variety of interests, have a wide array of knowledge and am able to relate to students no matter what they're interested in.
