"I am a 25 year old teacher from St. Louis, MO, and I have had a variety of different classroom experiences over the past few years. After graduating from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2021, having completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies/ Sociology, I moved to Cincinnati, OH. Over the last three years, I have challenged myself through many different teaching experiences, including working in Special Education at the preschool and middle-school levels, acting as the Physical Education lead for a summer school program with over 70 students, and most recently, teaching 1st grade at a local inner-city school. During this time I also earned my Resident Educator License in the State of Ohio, with an emphasis in Social Studies (K-12).

This coming October, I will move to Ourense, Spain, where I will act as an English Language assistant and Extra-Curricular coordinator in multiple classrooms across elementary and middle-school age levels. During this school year (2024-2025) I will also be practicing and gaining competency in my Spanish language skills. This being said, I will have time during the week to take on additional tutees, and I am eager to do so.

Aside from my experiences in Special and Elementary education, I have a solid background in the Environmental and Natural Sciences, as well as History and Sociology (both through my undergraduate education and my preparation as I earned my certificate in Integrated Social Studies). I feel qualified and comfortable assisting in these subjects up through the high-school level. I have strong writing skills and have always had a passion for reading and an interest in literary analysis, and would gladly take on students seeking help with writing or English courses. I also studied and played competitive Chess in high-school, and have kept up with this pursuit over the ensuing years, even instructing beginning players at a local chess club on occasion.
