"I have been working in a middle school classroom for over 20 years. I generally work with students with special needs such as autism, spectrum disorder, dyslexia, and ADHD. I am certified in the state of Florida, both as an ESE teacher and math instructor for Middle School ages. My last year of teaching I focused primarily on pre-algebra, but working with 6th grade and 7th grade is a joy as well. I understand patience and how easily students get confused and irritated with math. I try to make it fun and occasionally include puzzles to break up the monotony.
