"Throughout my life, I have experienced many fun, challenging, positive/negative, and varying experiences. These life events had enabled me to grow into a very positive and outgoing individual. Whether it was elementary, middle, or high school, I always loved being within a classroom setting. I thoroughly enjoy having the chance to learn about new subjects and how they can positively affect other's lives as well as my own. During my time at Ball State University, I was lucky enough to take various education classes which helped foster my love for helping others develop knowledge in varying aspects of life. I also had the chance during my freshman year to be apart of the A.O.K after-school program at Northside Middle School. This awesome experience allowed me to actively engage with middle-school aged students while enabling their mental and emotional growth.

Overall, my past experiences have fostered a strong passion for helping other individuals, whether it be full grown adults or elementary students. I have always believed that taking the time to help others recognize their own strengths and weaknesses also allows me to identify my own. I believe that a student should leave their tutoring sessions with the feelings of respect, positivity, and excitement to grow as a person.

I have created/implemented elementary-level lesson plans and tutored K-8 mathematics as well.

Supervised/participated in K-8 tutoring programs which included one-on-one tutoring sessions, group activities, and various other events within A Better Way, Inc.'s A.O.K After-School Program.

I have taken 10+ college level business classes that concerned such topics as group leadership, economics, real estate, business law, and various other courses. I have worked at various businesses since I was 14, and I believe that real world work experience can be an individuals best accomplishments.
