"As an experienced educator with over 15 years of experience teaching both General and Organic chemistry, I firmly believe that grasping this incredible subject is dependent on having an instructor that can explain these complex ideas in ways that are engaging and insightful. My background is entirely academic. After receiving my BS in Chemistry from the University of Florida, I proceeded to complete a Masters in Organic Chemistry at the same institution. From there, I was accepted into a doctoral program with the University of Miami, where I completed my PhD in Organic Chemistry. I have been published in 23 peer-reviewed journals in my career and was the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards during my time as a student.

Since the completion of my PhD, I have taught Chemistry full time at Miami Dade College, where I hold a tenured position as full Professor. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I am skilled and experienced in both in- person as well as online tutoring and teaching.
