"Students need to know that having a tutor doesn't mean they have failed in any way. It simply means they won't settle for mediocrity when there's potential to excel. Everyone needs a tour guide at some point if they want to get the most out of their adventure.

Benjamin Franklin declared, "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Merely helping a student memorize information is not enough for me to say I've done my job. I will strive to make sure my pupils are actually comprehending the material well enough to successfully implement it in any scenario (not just what's at-hand). When I encourage someone to immerse themselves in the subject matter, they are more likely to understand completely. I love when one reaches that "Ahh-HAH!" moment of clarity. It's then they realize nothing is impossible.

I completed Honors Spanish 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 with either an A or A+ in each course. I was also a member of the National Foreign Language Honor Society in high school.

I received an A+ in every Honors/Advanced Placement English course I took in school. I won Scholastic Achievement awards for both my essays and poetry. I also won a Teacher's Choice Award for a persuasive piece.

I utilize fun and unique methods to help remember how a word is spelled, no matter its complexity. I love sharing these techniques with others.
