"I am retired from 30 years of teaching and 5 years working in the court system. While working in the court system, I found that many of the people whom I helped were deficient in their written and spoken language skills, thus keeping them from achieving their short and long term goals in life. I firmly believe that education is one of the major factors for a satisfying and successful life.

Over the years, I have stayed in touch with many of my students, and the pleasure and gratification I receive from their gratitude to me has created a passion in me to do the same for others. I believe I can provide satisfaction and encouragement through tutoring in subject matter and mentoring in life skills.

I am skilled in English grammar and usage. I take great pride in the fact that I have taught advanced placement classes in business and creative writing, as well as remedial reading for ESL and English speaking students who have struggled not only with the skills but self esteem issues that come with difficulty in the academic areas.
