"I have an Associate of Science degree from Columbus State Community College (CSCC) where I studied biology, anthropology, and history. At CSCC, I also took statistics and several humanities classes. Once I graduated from CSCC, I began studying at The Ohio State University to receive my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in history. My history background covers several time periods, and I am confident and comfortable tutoring all history classes. In October 2023, I became a certified substitute teacher in the state of Ohio. This certificate remains valid until 2028, and it qualifies me for both general education and history classes.
My experience in education dates back to 2013. I homeschooled my children for four years before enrolling them into public school to focus on my own education. My most recent experience tutoring has been in a virtual setting with a company called A Grade Ahead. Here, I teach mathematics up to Algebra II, and English from grades kindergarten to high school.
