"I am a senior at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), currently ranked among the top public universities globally and recognized for its outstanding Geography department. UCSB's Geography program is highly regarded, consistently ranking among the top in the world for its comprehensive and integrative approach to both human and physical geography. I have taken 10 classes about geography, including 6 focused on GIS, all with grades above A. I completed 3 GIS projects: one on the analysis of adaptive traffic signals in Manhattan, NY, one on the impact of California wildfires, and the other on the reintroduction of California condors. I am proficient in using software like ArcGIS and am ready to assist with any geography or GIS-related inquiries.
Additionally, I interned at the Institute of Survey and Mapping during college, where I enhanced intern productivity by assisting with project coordination and learning the operation of geographical software and outdoor surveys.
