"I am a fourth-year medical student at a US-MD school. Previously, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a GPA of 3.93. I specialize in (1) medical school admissions counseling and 2) USMLE tutoring (CBSE, Step 1, Step 2).
(1) Medical school counseling: I have had the pleasure of guiding dozens of students through the medical school application process. Typically, I help students with their personal statement, AMCAS activities, and secondary applications. Most students need between 1-5 sessions with me to put together solid versions of those essays. As a former Admissions Ambassador for my medical school, I know what admissions committees are looking for. Essays can truly help set you apart, so I provide detailed feedback, edits, and strategic guidance. My students have gained acceptances and have interviewed at medical schools all over the country. No matter the GPA, MCAT score, college attended, or any other factor, I have seen my students successfully navigate the admissions process. The application process can be stressful—I’ll be your dedicated coach every step of the way.
(2) USMLE Tutoring: I passed Step 1 on my first attempt and scored a 263 on Step 2. I specialize in high-yield reviews emphasizing problem-solving, key associations, and test-taking strategies. I am passionate about teaching and helping students break down complex topics into digestible material. My students have passed NBME exams they've previously struggled with and improved their scores and test-taking abilities significantly. I tailor my sessions to your needs and come prepared to every single lesson with targeted practice questions and high-yield examples, pictures, associations, etc.
I also specialize in creating thorough yet realistic study schedules that students can stick to. Most of your USMLE studying will be done by you, outside of tutoring hours. That’s why I am dedicated to crafting a study plan together that will take the guesswork out of studying and help you stay on track." less...
