"Hi, I'm Michael! When I first discovered economics in college, I immediately fell in love. For the past two decades, I have helped hundreds of students develop their own passion for the subject. Many have gone on to major in economics, some work for the Federal Reserve, and others have earned a Ph.D. in the field!

I teach both AP Micro and AP Macro at a public high school. During the past decade, 94% of my students have passed the AP exams, with a 4.2 average score. Nearly 50% earn a 5. My classes consistently rank number one in the state of Wisconsin.

I'm also an AP Microeconomics reader (or scorer) for the College Board, which gives me exclusive insight into the exam's structure and scoring. I can teach you how to answer free response questions so that you will earn maximum points!

Teaching is a natural extension of my passion for learning. In my free time, I keep up on the latest academic research in the field, follow business news, and track public policy debates. This enables me to use relatable examples to clarify difficult concepts for students. In college, I earned a bachelor's degree with a double major in economics and geography/urban planning, studied business location theory in graduate school. I have led students to state titles in the Economics Challenge and successfully competing in the Federal Reserve Challenge. Simply put, I love economics.
