"Hi, I'm Rebecca! I graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Science in 2004. Once I began to teach, it was obvious to me that this is what I was meant to do! I taught in a classroom setting for 13 years teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Algebraic Reasoning and Geometry. I also facilitated a College Algebra class through my local high school as the co-instructor and I taught a remedial College Algebra class at a local community college. My love for math is always noticed by my students. I try to teach with energy and excitement! I really want to strive to change the mindset of Mathematics and make my students see that they can also have fun learning math!

My teaching style is to listen to the student to gauge their understanding and then walk them through that concept with examples. I like to give them ways to remember the concept so it will stick with them. I have the ability to break down difficult concepts into manageable chunks to make it easier for the student to grasp and retain.
