"I was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I moved back to the U.S. 9 years ago to finish high-school and University. I had a strong passion for art but wasn’t determined to pursue it as a career until I reached university. Traditional art has always been my passion since I was a child, fiddling with crayons and pastels to try and make a simple drawing look like a masterpiece. I still consider myself to be quite new to Digital Media, but I do know how to use Photoshop, flash, and illustrator as well as some video and audio editing programs.
I got my Bachelor's degree in Arts and Visual Tech. from George Mason University. My major required me to take both traditional and digital art classes. (Like Prismacolor and Copic). Most of the materials I own are artist grade and of high quality, which means they're made of fine expensive pigments. I'm willing to bring them to the students location to use for demonstration purposes. The digital media that I have experience with are mainly: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Premiere, Audition, Corel Painter, Photography with a Canon Eos 60D and Paint Tool SAI. As soon as I showed the students some examples of my work they were very excited to learn how to draw. It lifted up my spirits as well and I was always looking forward to going back and teaching them. The only experience I have tutoring digital media is through helping out my classmates in some of my graphic design classes w" less...
