I know how hard it is to ace certain classes, where it is math, economics, or foreign language. I have studied at Cornell, NYU and Tufts (where I completed my Bachelor's degree). It takes a patient and effective tutor to make tough concepts simple so that you can understand them and then use them in your exams and real life. I really enjoy breaking down these tough topics and making them easier for my students to grasp, so they can feel more confident in themselves and ACE their courses!

I formally studied Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan for three years and then received an A in Tufts University’s Advanced Chinese II (Chinese 122). I have taught English to multiple students from Taiwan, and know how to adapt material to students of different levels, including beginners. At Tufts, I took a course on applied linguistics and various approaches to learning new languages. As someone who successfully became fluent in Mandarin Chinese (and Spanish), I can put myself in your shoes if you are learning a language, taking a new class, or starting anything that is hard.

I graduated with a Bachelors of degree in International Relations from Tufts University in 2022. During the process of obtaining my Bachelor’s degree, I completed advanced classes in mathematics, including statistics and Math for Economics I, II, and III, which are calculus-based courses with a focus on economic analysis. I also completed classes on philosophy, literature, accounting, US law, and economics.

I have tutored a wide range of students in English language in both group and individual settings. I am skilled at taking complex topics and breaking them down into easily manageable pieces so that my students can understand them.
