"Hi there! I am a New York State certified teacher in three areas: Childhood Education, Special Education and Visual Arts Education. I have over 20 years of experience teaching children ages 3-18 to read, write, utilize mathematical strategies, engage in scientific theory, prepare for tests and exams, develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEP), gain empowerment over their own unique learning style and of course, get creative. I am trained in the Yale School of Education’s RULER approach to Social Emotional Learning and believe that academic success and emotional intelligence are inextricably linked.
