"Hello! My name is Brendan and I am an Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics major at the UofA. I have always enjoyed teaching others and have several years of experience tutoring chess, math, and science one on one. I have taught many high school age students for different tutoring services and have always been complemented on my teaching ability and patience.

I scored 36 and 800 on the ACT and SAT math sections, which hopefully makes me qualified to teach you how to ace them as well! I am a few classes away from getting my degree in Applied Mathematics, and currently rated 1700 in chess. Most importantly I really appreciate the opportunity to teach you and I am really looking forward to helping my students!

I like to work slowly through problems with my students as I am a firm believer in the importance of practice problems. If you can't solve a practice problem then you have not really learned the concept! Practice problems also are the most effective tool for seeing what it is the student understands and what they don't.
