I have the most experience with helping students ages 18 and onward -- from first-time freshmen to non-traditional college students who are seeking degrees at an older age, I'm here to help. At the accessibility center, I helped students with disabilities such as ADHD, autism, Deaf/HoH, mood disorders, and so on navigate academics and college life. I am more than happy to tailor lessons with accommodations for a student's unique needs.
My favorite way to help students is through positive reinforcement, making the available tools they have work for them, and creating detailed (but reasonable and flexible) plans and goals.
