"Hi I'm Sejal! I recently graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology and a minor in Psychology. I have also been accepted into dental school and will begin this June! I am passionate about empowering people with education and the best methods for effective studying. As a tutor, I hope to not just provide help but also mentorship for the student to excel in all academic areas. I am a very hard-working and organized person, thus I will do my absolute best to be prepared and answer all questions the student may have.

My tutoring experience includes working as an Instructional Assistant for Basics in Cell Biology at UCSD. During this time, I hosted weekly discussion sessions where I went over concepts learned in lecture, answered questions, and provided extra resources for studying. I also hosted office hours where I would work one-on-one with students that needed extra help. I loved providing creative studying methods such as practice exams and games to enrich studying during class. I also have experience creating and presenting educational seminars to the homeless population around San Diego through the organization called Homeless Heal. I loved this experience as I was able to give back to the community and teach, both which I am extremely passionate about.
