"I have an M.S> in Horticulture with a lot of background in Botany. I owned a Nursery and Lawn Mower Shop for 10 years, and managed all aspects of the business. I have tutored elementary students in Math through Algebra after being retired. My other work experience was in Adult Education and 4-H with the Extension Service, a Land Grant University Program.

I received an Award given to two Extension Agents in Florida who had worked 3-5 years for Programming and outreach. I also received a third place national Award in Responsible Use of Pesticides for work with Nursery Growers using Beneficial Insects and less toxic pesticides. I also received an Award from the Landscape Maintenance Association in two counties as Educator of the Year.

I had good math teachers in school, and I have tutored 2 elementary students in Math as a volunteer. I have work experience with the practical application of math.

I have had many Botany, Plant Physiology, and Biochemistry Classes in College, and I work with Botany and Horticulture for about 40 years. I was in the Florida Native Plant Society for 30 Years.

I owned a nursery and Lawn Mower Shop for ten years, and did all of the work in every aspect of the business. I also took Economics in College.
