"Hello! My name is Siena and I am a recent graduate from Linfield University. I graduated with my BS in Elementary Education, so I am most comfortable working with elementary students in reading and writing, but am also comfortable working with middle school students.

I have had plenty of experience working with kids, both in and out of a classroom. I have been a babysitter, counselor in training; as well as working in more formal roles, as a: student teacher, summer school teacher, substitute teacher, and tutor. As someone with a processing disorder, it is important to me that when I work with students, I am able to provide them with different ways to absorb the material that we are learning. Especially for elementary students, I always give the option to use pictures or drawings or some other sort of visual if that is what works best for them!

Although I love being in classrooms full of kids, I also value my one on one time working with students, as it allows me to form close, personal relationships with them.
