"My name is Abdulkerim M. and I graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. My experience with mathematics is strong. I received a 790 on the SAT Math exam and I have received a 5 on AP Calculus AB exam. I have taken Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations in college. Since I was a kid, I have always found joy in solving puzzles, riddles, and anything related to those things. I find math to be similar to solving a puzzle.

I believe that in order to be proficient at mathematics, I must help the student understand the concepts by breaking them down in simple ways and applying those concepts with practice problems. I like to ask students what they need help with and they can show me the problem that they are having trouble with. I then suggest methods and show them how to use those methods to solve the problems. I have two years of experience tutoring students at my former high school in Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus, where I tutored about 5 to 10 students at a time.
