"Hi, I'm Ariel! I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in computer science. I really enjoy teaching the subjects I'm passionate about, and I believe that is the trick to finding the tutor best for you. I've been helping out my peers in math and physics throughout all of high school from private 1-on-1's to school-mandated programs and I take pride in seeing grades improve! I also have experience in teaching programming languages at both the high school and undergrad level.

My goal as a tutor is to ensure students understand the material enough to be CONFIDENT for the exam. I've seen so many courses formatted such that the exam is harder than the homework which builds false confidence from being underprepared. Instead, the correct approach is to ensure the student fully understands the topics so there are no surprises on the exam! I will walk through homework problems, and come up with similar practice problems until the student can easily solve things on their own.

One of my biggest strengths is that I can adapt to both in-person and online tutoring with the same efficiency. I love using a drawing tablet to write out problems live while chatting with the student similar to how it would be in-person with pen and paper!
