"I have been interested Psychology for many years. I have always wanted to know why people do the things they do and what makes them act the way they act. Psychology has not only answered those questions, but it has also helped me in my daily life. A full understanding of psychology will help you interact better with your peers and potential employers, resolve conflict, and open you up to countless job opportunities.

Now a little about me. My name is Shelby, and I am currently a senior at Faulkner University. I will be graduating in May 2014 with a B.S in Psychology. I decided to pursue psychology because I wanted to understand myself and the people around me. I believe the ability to understand behavior will help any individual succeed in their personal lives and in their future careers. For instance, I am a teacher's assistant at Hooper Academy. My knowledge of psychology has helped me understand and teach children in a way not many other teachers can. This is because I understand the development of the children and how to teach them accordingly.
