"Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Spelman College. I also have a Master’s Degree in Print Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley. While working as a newspaper journalist for several years, I taught an English Composition class at Community College of Southern Nevada. I have been working as a public relations and communications professional for nearly 20 years. Simply put, my entire career has centered on writing in all its forms.

While my experience teaching in the traditional sense is limited, my experience writing, editing, proofreading and fine tuning the written word is vast. My desire is to help students understand and implement the building blocks of writing so they can express their ideas in a way that is clear, concise and impactful. This includes proofreading and editing papers and speeches, helping students master the organization of ideas, and understanding the power of effective messaging.
