"Hi, I’m Rachel. I graduated magna cum laude from Miami University with bachelors degrees in professional writing and journalism and minors in political science and interactive media studies. In the years since, I’ve written professionally in various capacities, both as a journalist and a copywriter.

As a tutor, I aim to foster students’ confidence in their writing abilities and to tailor lessons to each student, catering to their unique learning style.

I have more than five years of tutoring experience in writing, reading comprehension, journalism, and math. I also have experience with proofreading, including for college application essays.

My overall tutoring background includes working at an educational enrichment center as well as tutoring students privately one-on-one. I previously worked at a university writing center for international students, helping them structure their essays and improve writing skills.
