"I am a Process Integration Research Engineer who holds a M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Rutgers University and has years of teaching and tutoring experience working with students. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring sessions with students, running teaching assistant lecture and laboratory sessions with students, and mentoring students for independent research projects.
As an engineer at heart, I strive to figure out solutions to problems people have. I love trying to figure out new ways to understand a concept, or devising a new method or approach to solve even the simplest of problems because it helps to enhance your understanding of a concept and I also think that it is pure elegance as well. I enjoy working with others and helping them succeed at whatever they are trying to accomplish, whether it is short term like passing an exam or long term like completing a research project. I have worked with students ranging from high schoolers to graduate students in providing the assistance and guidance they need to figure out how to solve problems, understand concepts, and better prepare for tests. I have tutored students in Chemistry, Physics, and Precalculus/Calculus subjects, in addition to providing prep for standardized tests, including SAT Math, ACT Math, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Physics 1/2 and AP Physics C, AP Chemistry, and the GRE Math (non-subject).
Please contact me if you would like to make a tutoring appointment! I try to be as flexible as I can to accommodate your needs, and look forward to helping you succeed." less...
