"I am active with multiple community activities with my children. I graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 1996 with a degree in High Performance Automotive Service.

After years in the Automotive Service industry, I changed career fields and began working in the RV manufacturing. When our local economy experienced a downturn I changed career paths.

I started my career as a Design Engineer in the Bus Manufacturing industry. I also returned to the classroom, at the age of 35, to pursue my dream of achieving a degree in Electrical Engineering.

While at Ivy Tech I greatly enjoyed my time working as Mathematics tutor on the Elkhart & Warsaw campuses. Over the course of the next 5 years I worked full time as an entry level engineer, while balancing the demands of a family of 4, & very demanding academic program. In the Spring of 2015, I completed my Electrical Engineering Technology Degree from Ivy Tech, with honors & concentrations in advanced Mathematics.
