"I received a Bachelor's degree in the field of History from the University of Massachusetts in 2004, an MEd from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2007, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New England in 2012. I have been teaching in the public school system at the secondary level since 2005 and am currently a full time high school history teacher. I taught or currently am teaching World History I, World History II, Advanced Placement US History I, Honors US History I, US History I, and Advanced Placement European History. I have served as an academic tutor in all core subjects for the public school district that I am currently employed in. I believe in personalized instruction that is differentiated based on the individual needs of the student. In my opinion, students benefit from a multitude of approaches that appeal to their individual learning styles.
