"The journey to academic success looks different for everyone, and I love being part of it at every level! Whether I’m helping a young learner build strong reading and writing skills, supporting a high school student through the college admissions process, or coaching a college or graduate student on academic writing, my mission is to make learning engaging, personal, and empowering.
With extensive experience in student success, teaching, and admissions, I provide expert guidance on college and graduate school applications, essay writing, and scholarship materials. I have worked closely with first-year college students to strengthen their academic skills and mentored families through the admissions process to ensure students are accepted and fully prepared to thrive in college.
In addition to college admissions support, I have a deep passion for K-12 education. As a certified K-6 teacher with experience tutoring students of all ages, I understand the importance of building strong academic foundations early on. I use engaging and accessible methods to teach reading, writing, and math, helping students grow their confidence and curiosity.
I provide writing coaching and organization/study skills for college students and adult learners. I work with students on refining academic papers or writing admissions essays. I help students take the overwhelming list of assignments and break them into smaller, manageable chunks. As a Ph.D. candidate in Higher Education and a mentor to college students (including first-generation and at-risk students), I know the challenges students face—and I tailor my approach to meet their unique needs.
No matter where a student is on their academic path, I am here to guide, support, and cheer them on every step of the way. Learning should be an exciting journey—one that leads to limitless possibilities!" less...
