"As a long-time English/Reading instructor, writer, editor, proofreader, and Communications specialist, I have the skills and the dedication to help with any writing, grammar, or reading-comprehension problem. In my work as a college-level English instructor, I've noticed that too many students fail to succeed in their English and Reading courses because they don't understand the simple basics of English grammar.
I also see every day that students lack the level of vocabulary needed to communicate intelligently and to progress in their high school and college classes. I'm a patient and devoted tutor, but I always expect my students to exceed their own expectations for themselves, and success in English begins with vocabulary.
English should be easy because, for most of us, it's our native language. However, most of us have learned it badly, and our reliance on texting and other electronic shortcuts has contributed to our language deficiencies.
Some things have to be learned and understood from the inside out. That's how I tutor students in English, Reading, and general Communications.
