"Hello! My name is Jared. I graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Communications and a minor in Anthropology in 2004. I received my single subject California State teaching certification from San Diego State University in May of 2022, emphasizing in US History, Government and Economics. Most recently I put my skills to use at Health Sciences High and Middle College (HSHMC) in the City Heights neighborhood of San Diego. My students would tell you that I am friendly, knowledgeable, and always approachable. I love to work with scholars in a one-on-one environment, preparing them for AP exams, college entrance essays, or just their weekly assignments. I am always flexible and willing to adapt any lesson plan to help achieve both academic and career goals.
