"I'm Joyce and I graduated at the top of my high school class of over 600 people with a 4.65 weighted GPA. I recently graduated from UC Berkeley in 3 years with double major for a B.A. in psychology with honors, cognitive science, and a minor in clinical/counseling psychology. My qualifications mean that I am passionate about helping you succeed and study effectively.

I have tutored since middle school and I know how to adapt to different students to help them effectively learn and absorb the material. Besides helping my students grasp material, I love connecting with my students and acting as a mentor for them. In addition to having expertise in various subjects, I am also extremely sociable and will do everything I can to help my students feel more confident before the next exam. Whether that be pinpointing strengths and weaknesses, or providing personalized practice outside of class, I am extremely flexible and will adapt to my student's needs.

In high school, I received A's in Pre-Calc, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and AP courses (Calc AB/BC, Chemistry, U.S. History). I also scored a 790 on SAT math.

I am a national AP Scholar and have received 5s on AP Psychology, AP Calc AB, AP Calc BC, and AP U.S. History.

In college, I received A's in Math 1A/ Math 1B (calculus equivalents at UC Berkeley) and A's in psychology courses (biological, social, personality, clinical, cognitive, developmental).

I'm best at tutoring algebra I/II, trigonometry, AP Pre-Calc, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Psychology, and APUSH.
