Mathematics is always my favorite subject. I took roughly about 30 Math courses in College and got straight A/A+ most of the time. My GPA is approximately 4/4.3.
My favorite field in Math is differential geometry, which is also my PhD research topic now.
Besides thinking and solving research problems in Mathematics, I also like to communicate Mathematics with other people, and tutoring is definitely one of the most exciting way to do it. I have been doing it almost every year in my undergrad. Back when I just finished high school after getting two Gold medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), which is the most advanced mathematical competition for high school students, I was invited to several school to teach Olympiad mathematics to younger peers. Especially there were several occasion when I went to Saudi Arabia to help their Olympiad team prepare for the IMO. These were all very exciting and rewarding experience." less...
