MY APPROACH:

My goal is to help students gain confidence and start making measurable progress right away. To promote engagement, I employ a Socratic style. In each session, I evaluate students' strengths and weaknesses by querying them on their missed questions from official exams. During this review, I introduce relevant strategies and help students apply them to eliminate incorrect answers and confirm the correct one. In each session, I assign homework, including both study material and practice exams.

Please note that last-minute cramming is not an effective approach to test prep. For this reason, I do not accept new students within two weeks of their scheduled exam. For a realistic chance of achieving significant gains on a single section, plan on a bare minimum of 4 sessions, with study and practice in between. For SAT/ACT Reading and ACT Science, 6 - 8 are often needed.
