"Born in a family of engineers, I have always had a natural flair and affection for science and education. I have a master's degree in electrical engineering with a 4.0 GPA from UCLA and I'm currently working at Apple as a camera hardware engineer. I have more than 15 years of teaching experience. I've worked as a teaching assistant and a tutor for mathematics, physics, and chemistry in many colleges including UCLA, Santa Monica College, and East LA College. I have also voluntarily worked as a mentor and a teacher for educationally disadvantaged kids and underrepresented students in many colleges. Because of my extensive and diverse teaching experience, I realize that every student is different, so I tailor my approach to the individual's needs and capabilities. I always make sure that the subject I'm teaching is understood in depth, and I always go beyond solving a problem! I teach my students the tools and techniques they need to be able to succeed on their own for the rest of their academic journey. I teach my students the art of critical thinking!

I have extensive experience in teaching all high school and college level mathematics courses, chemistry, and physics courses, including algebra, trigonometry, geometry, AP calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, general chemistry, classical mechanics, electro-magnetics, and thermodynamics.

I love teaching ; I'm very patient with my students, and I'm easy to reach to. I welcome any suggestions that parents and students might have regarding the structure of sessions. I also speak Farsi (Persian). So, I can teach the lessons in Farsi too if a student prefers that.
