"Hello, I'm Cait! I'm a Latin, Ancient Greek and German tutor who prides herself in her students' success. Under my tutelage, my students gain confidence in their language skills, improve their grades, and discover a newfound appreciation for these tough subjects.

For nearly two decades, I have studied Latin, Ancient Greek, and German at a high academic level and taught hundreds of college or secondary students Latin, German and English. I received my master’s degree from UCLA in Classical Languages in 2018, and have worked in the Classics and English departments at UCLA, UCSanDiego and UMass Amherst.

In my lessons, I adapt my methodology to student needs, maximizing our time together with creative assessments, exciting content, dynamic discussion and engaging questions. Tutoring, for me, is a means of confident education. My students take as much pride in their education as I do in theirs.

In addition to teaching, I have experience in administration and leadership, which allows me to incorporate independence and confidence building into my Latin, Ancient Greek and German lessons.

A perfect day for me would involve reading, oil-painting, or hiking with my 8 lb dog, Mackerel, in the forests of New England, and, of course, tutoring sessions with my fantastic students.
