"I graduated from UCLA in 2022 with a degree in environmental science and a concentration in atmospheric and oceanic sciences. In the fall, I am excited to begin the Science, Health, and Environmental Reporting Program (SHERP) at NYU!

I have tutored for ten years now in subjects ranging from math, english, and science. During my time at UCLA, I was a peer tutor for chemistry and physics. However, my favorite topic to teach has always been writing, specifically college essays-- hence my pursuit of journalism.

I currently volunteer with 826LA to help deserving students find their story throughout the school year, and particularly during college admissions season. I ask the right questions to help discover the parts of themselves they didn't know were worth writing about. I provide help with both big-picture revisions and technical edits, all the while preserving the students unique voice-- which is the most important part of any good essay.
