"Hi, my name is Michael! I graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a B.S. in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution and Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. I have taken biology courses focusing on molecular/cell biology, genetics, anatomy & physiology, ecology, evolution, etc. I have also taken several chemistry and math courses. While in high school, I received a 5 on the AP Biology Exam, a 5 on the AP Calculus BC Exam, and an 800 (out of 800) on the Biology-E SAT Subject Test.
I enjoy talking about STEM topics (especially biology), and I hope that my students eventually gain that same enthusiasm after some sessions with me. During sessions, I will oftentimes use visual aids and analogies during my sessions to help students better understand the lesson.
