"I am a UCLA graduate, I got my bachelors degree in Design|Media Art in 2019. Throughout my undergraduate studies I was placed on the Dean’s List multiple times. I currently live in New York City, where I am studying in a post-baccalaureate program at Columbia University- where I am taking classes in songwriting, screenwriting, and poetry. My whole life, I have loved learning about where art and the humanities intersect. I think knowledge is one of the greatest gifts we can bestow unto ourselves, but I don’t always think that there is a super linear way of attaining it. All throughout high school and college, I had great experiences with other tutors that helped me approach the source material given to me by my teacher or professor in a way that was much more engaging than maybe the institution I was enrolled in at the time could provide. I have been a freelance tutor, off and on, for the past 3 years. I would say my specialties lie in reading and writing comprehension, as well as the arts. Most recently I was a public school teacher in East Harlem for 4th and 5th graders teaching Elementary Science.
