Background:

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Materials Science from UCLA in 2019. I have been tutoring since 2015, when I was an undergraduate T.A. for General Chemistry at Bakersfield College. I later began one-on-one tutoring for Chemistry and Physics in 2016, where I became trained and certified with the College Reading and Learning Association. I graduated from Bakersfield College in 2017 with an A.S. in Chemistry, and an A.S. in Physics, also received the 2017 Chemistry Departmental Award and the Physical Sciences Student of the Year 2017.

Afterwards, I transferred to UCLA where I switched my major to Chemistry-Materials Science. In 2018 and 2019, I worked as a Peer Learning Facilitator at UCLA for Upper Division Biochemistry, where I worked with the professor and a class of 15 students over the 6-week summer quarter and provided group study sessions, one-on-one tutoring, and course guidance.

I'm currently pursuing my Masters in Chemistry at Cal State Long Beach. I currently teach First semester General Chemistry and First semester Organic Chemistry Lab. As you've seen, I'm always tutoring one way or another, whether it's weekly one-on-one sessions, group study sessions, or as needed.
