I never advertise myself as a student's academic superior or 2-dimensional lecturer. I want working with me to be relieving and collaborative, not intimidating. I pride myself on personalizing each and every lesson, which is why I will request class materials in advance. I also am proud to say that my academic relationships with students often continue throughout their high-school or college years.
I have been a full-time educator for over 4 years as well as a TA during my college years. My experience regularly secures my students at least a one to two letter grade of improvement, not to mention a deeper enjoyment of the subject matter.
