"I completed my Masters in Genetics and Genomics from University of Connecticut, Storrs CT with GPA of 3.98. I have always been interested in an academic career and teaching has always been a passion, be it helping friends understand concepts before tests, or teaching young students math, reading, science or be it teaching an undergraduate Genetics class. I think this is an excellent opportunity where I can explore teaching my favorite subject Biology, with major in Microbiology and Genetics & Genomics, all the while maintaining a work-life balance.

I have worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during my Masters in University of Connecticut, Storrs; where I use to present genetics course subject matter to second year undergraduates and taught them to apply concepts to work problems in a classroom setting; have also conducted individual student help hours. I have worked for a year as a Personal Instructor at Kumon Math and Reading Center, Framingham where I tutored students in Math and Reading.

I have worked with students of diverse abilities and skills sets; students from elementary grade to graduate level. I always teach with the desire to help students understand relevant concepts and to help them achieve their best in tests as well as help them gain confidence to work independently.
