"Hello students and parents, I am a recent UNC Chapel Hill graduate with a Double Major in Computer Science/Statistics and a Minor in Mathematics. I have been tutoring for many years now. I was a teaching assistant while attending UNC as well as NCSSM (North Carolina School of Science and Math). My fellow classmates and friends often sought my help while at these schools. While in high school, I also volunteered with tutoring middle school/elementary school students at a local Boys and Girls Club.

In the past, I often participated in competition math. Some background into my standardized testing includes: perfect 800 in SAT Math as well as Subject Test SAT Math II, perfect 170 on Quantitative Reasoning GRE section, 5s on AP Statistics, Calculus AB, and Calculus BC. I know SAT Math so well that I only missed one question when taking it in 7th grade, now the verbal section was a completely different story but we don't have to mention that...

I am extremely patient and my tutoring style often involves giving helpful hints and nudges in the right direction to try and help the student figure out how to solve a problem. This may take some time, however, I've found it to be helpful to the students in retaining that information. I am comfortable in tutoring anything up to college level mathematics.
