"Hello! My name is Mohammed, and I am currently attending the University of Houston in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. I graduated within the top two percent of my class in high school with a GPA of 3.96, and I currently have a GPA of 3.98. In my senior year of high-school, I took AP Calculus BC and received a 5 on the exam, and when retaking Calculus 2, I obtained an A. I also received an A when taking Calculus 3. It is with this previous experience that I am able to confidently tutor other students in the realm of Calculus.
My prior tutoring experience includes one-on-one lessons with my fellow classmates, which I extend into tutoring other high-school and college students in subjects such as Calculus. Over the past year, I have also tutored students in math subjects ranging from 3rd grade math to high school pre-calculus in an in-person learning environment. Based on the student's needs and specific areas of struggle, I formulate lesson plans composed of relevant practice problems and breakdowns on the topics of interest. I believe that with a patient approach to the topic and ample help from myself, any student can fully master their areas of struggle.
Whether it be exam prep, homework problems, or full subject breakdowns, I hope to engage with and help my fellow students. I guarantee a tutoring experience that is beneficial to the student academically, and I hope to deliver insightful lessons that will help the student where they need it.
Note: The only calculus subjects I tutor in are Calculus 1 and Calculus 2." less...
